October, 2025
On October 29, the closing and award ceremony of the first-ever Indie Forge took place — an initiative led by Blazing Soft that, for more than 15 days, fostered creativity, innovation, and high-level video game development in Barranquilla, Colombia.
In this first edition, 24 teams registered, of which 12 were admitted to continue through the development and mentoring process. Finally, 8 video games reached the final stage, presenting their projects to the judges and the attending community during the awards ceremony.
During the event, the top 5 video games of the Indie Forge 2025 were recognized for their engagement, presentation, and creative potential.

The Indie Forge was born as an initiative from the Meet & GameDev community, within the framework of its first anniversary — a community led and supported by Blazing Soft. To honor its members, two additional categories were created to recognize both active contributors and attending participants.

The event, held at the Auditorium of the Corporación de Educación Superior del Litoral, featured the participation of key strategic allies who helped make this first edition a reality: Corporación Universitaria Americana, Corporación de Educación Superior del Litoral, and Fundación Código Abierto.
Thus concluded the first edition of the Indie Forge, where Blazing Soft, together with its strategic allies, awarded prizes in cash and academic scholarships totaling over 15 million pesos, reaffirming their joint commitment to strengthening the video game and digital content industry in Colombia.
