As part of the first anniversary of the Meet & GameDev community, Blazing Soft is organizing the first edition of Indie Forge, in collaboration with the Corporación de Educación Superior del Litoral, the Corporación Universitaria Americana, and the Fundación Código Abierto as strategic partners.

From Jam to Game: A New Stage to Showcase Your Talent

At Blazing Soft, we love game jams. They are vibrant spaces for creativity, collaboration, and rapid prototyping. But we also believe there is value in taking things one step further: building with more time, more structure, and more intention.

That’s why we are launching a unique event in the Caribbean region—an experience where teams will have the chance to develop complete, functional, and emotionally engaging games. It’s not just about speed, but about depth. We want to see what you can really create when given the space to do it right.

And because recognition matters, we’re rewarding talent. Beyond providing an environment that enhances your skills, we’ll award cash prizes to the winning teams. Your effort deserves to be celebrated, and your work, valued.

More Than a Competition

Indie Forge is also a space for collaboration, learning, and community building—where programmers, creatives, and video game enthusiasts come together to share knowledge and experiences around indie game development.

Participation Requirements
To participate in Indie Forge, it is essential to meet the following conditions:

• Be at least 18 years of age. (Mandatory requirement)
• Reside in the city of Barranquilla or its metropolitan area.

Prizes

The event will reward creativity and effort with the following prizes:

• 🏆 First place: $3,000,000 COP*
• 🥈 Second place: $1,000,000 COP*

And many more prizes for the different participants.
