It’s no secret that the digital content development and creation industry spans a wide range of ages, from children to adults, who enjoy various video games based on their preferences. This is why Blazing Soft launched an engaging and constructive activity aimed at children aged 8 to 12, involving their parents in the creation of their first video game, fostering collaborative work and enhancing the parent-child relationship.
It’s important to highlight that the creative process of building a video game fosters the development of both soft and hard skills. Additionally, it encourages the application of abilities acquired through school learning, including logical-mathematical thinking, conflict resolution, and the ideation and realization of an idea.
This engaging event took place at Blazing Soft Valledupar’s offices at the end of July, allowing parents and children to connect with video game development and discover the appeal of the digital entertainment industry. Participants had the opportunity to explore the possibilities that open up by understanding basic programming concepts applied to what children enjoy most: video games.
